Win one of two copies of Lost & Found by Tom Winter

*** GIVEAWAY ***

Publishers Constable and Robinson have given me two copies of Lost & Found by Tom Winter to give away to celebrate the paperback release of the novel on August 15!

I had a chance to review a hardcover copy earlier this year and I found this debut a poignant read about two ordinary people whose stories become extraordinary as the excellent writing draws the reader in. The characters are quirky and memorable and I'm sure you'll quickly fall in love with them like I did. If you'd like to know more about the novel, you can read my full review here.

For your chance to win one of two paperback copies of the book, just fill in the Rafflecopter below! The competition will run for 1 week, after which the winners will be announced on here.

Giveaway open to UK residents only. Winners selected at random and will be contacted by email within 48 hours after the giveaway has closed. Prizes will be sent directly by the publisher.

GORGEOUS cover! Really makes me want to read the book :)I love receiving letters in the post :)

After I got married in June I wrote letters to every single guest that came thanking them and telling them how wonderful it was to have them there and they really loved that I'd done it the 'old fashioned' way and written them all a letter :)

    1. That is a lovely thing you did Megan, I'm sure your wedding guests appreciated the fact that all the notes were hand-written! I too love receiving letters in the post, but don't send/receive them often anymore because everything has gone digital.

  2. You've sold me, definitely want to read this!

I don't write letters, but kind of wish I did. It's always nice to receive one (normally its of the yearly Christmas card variety) but time slips away and its so hard to keep up! I do stay in e-mail contact with a friend in America though. He doesn't do Facebook and barely does Skype so we write each other e-mails, and they end up being digital letters! :)

    1. It seems email has taken over from old-fashioned style letters. It's a definite plus that they're quick and easy but sometimes it's so nice to receive an actual handwritten letter in the post ;)

  3. I used to write and therefore receive a lot of letters, all of which I have saved up to be able to go back to on occasion. Now it's mostly emails, but saving and rereading is still happening!

    1. I don't have many letters from my past, they're usually cards from holidays or for special occasions but I too love going back to them and rereading what's written within!

  4. My Mum pointed this book out to me at the weekend. It sounds absolutely brilliant and what a fab cover!

I sadly do not write letters anymore, but purely because I do not have anyone to write to :( I used to have a penpal when I was younger and I also used to write to my boyfriend when I was 12 years old. I think the best letter I have received was a personalised one from 'Father Christmas' but was actually from my Nan. I have never been so excited in my life!! It was truly magical :)

    1. I know, isn't it lovely? I think the paperback cover is even prettier than the hardback one I read earlier in the year.

I'm sorry to hear you don't have anyone to write to anymore :( I'm the same actually. I used to have penpals but with the increase of digital communications letters have quickly become a thing of the past. So now I just send postcards to my mum (who lives in the Netherlands) frequently and treat those as letters :)

Love that you got a personalised letter from your nan as Father Christmas!

Great giveaway - would love to read :)
I haven't written a hand written letter in so long, I used love having special stationary as well for writing to my pen friends! Oh I sound so old!!

    1. I think the digital letter has taken over too much, very few people still write a letter by hand. It's a shame really because I remember having special stationary too and I loved picking out new one every once in a while (clearly I'm old too!) :)
